Owen is a second-year BSc Philosophy, Politics and Economics Student from Hong Kong who was introduced to politics during the 2019 Hong Kong pro-democracy protests - from there, Owen sought to expand their understanding in geopolitics, political systems and ideology. They are particularly passionate about Asian and European diplomacy, and the interaction between domestic and International politics. 

 

Owen is a regular writer for the UCL IPPR journal and Asiatic Affairs society, and participates in Model UN conferences in their spare time. Owen looks forward to putting their analytical skills to use, meeting like-minded peers and improving my craft and knowledge at Global Weekly.
