Oriane is a final year BSc International Relations with Chinese student at the LSE. Her areas of interest include East Asia, with a specific focus on China and its competition with the U.S. She is looking to pursue a career in political risk analysis, strategic communications and consultancy, or geopolitical journalism.Through internships in political consultancy and research analysis, as well as growing up in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Oriane has developed a keen interest in the geopolitical implications of China’s growing role on the international stage. She also has a keen interest in U.S.-China competition over innovation and policy making in high-technology and its wider international implications.
