Munro is a History and Politics student at the University of York with a keen interest in geopolitics. His interests have taken him as far as Australia, where he spent six weeks independently conducting research on the Australian Communist Party, about which he intends to write a book after university

 

He is very excited to be getting involved with Global Weekly as a writer and editor. His interests include state-building and the formation of national myths, with a particular interest in the way that narratives inform one's understanding of their nationality. He hopes to cover obscure topics that have gone largely un-noticed by the mainstream media.
