Desk Analyst - Indo-Pacific

Marina is currently studying BSc International Relations and Chinese at the London School of Economics (LSE) and will study at Fudan University (Shanghai, China) in 2025-6.

Her key research areas include Chinese economic and foreign policy, especially in the context of Sino-Indian and Sino-Western relations. Previously, she has written analysis pieces regarding the impact of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and military developments on China's evolving role in global politics.

Apart from her Mandarin degree courses, Marina is also studying non-degree French at university. She looks forward to contributing to the Indo-Pacific desk at Global Weekly and providing analysis on major events in the region.
