Leela Boudjema

Desk Analyst - Indo-Pacific

Leela Boudjema is a French undergraduate student at SciencesPo Paris majoring in Politics and Government with an Asia-Pacific regional specialisation and is currently a 3rd-year exchange student at King’s College London majoring in European Studies. During her time at SciencesPo, Leela developed a wide range of skills in research, economics, law and international relations. 

Her interest revolves around the Indo-Pacific, international security, neo and post-colonisation and territorial and maritime conflicts. She also learnt Mandarin during her time at the Asia-Pacific focus institution. 

Having worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Indo-Pacific Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University and co-authored papers for the Oxford Political Review and the Kalinga International Foundation on colonial semantics, Indonesian elections and the AUKUS trilemma respectively, she aims to further her passion for writing and international security, particularly in the Indo-Pacific, during her time at Global Weekly.
