James is an International Relations student at the University of York who is passionate about pursuing careers in political journalism and international diplomacy.

His engagement with geopolitical studies has expanded beyond university, producing informed and insightful articles for a number of publications. 

​

James has a particular focus on Eastern Europe and Central Asia, delving into the complexities of post-Soviet geopolitical conflicts. Also, possessing a keen interest in the dynamics of post-colonial relations, researching and writing about socio-economic conflicts in Africa and the Middle East.
