James Raftery is a political analyst and international strategic communications consultant, working with individual, corporate and government clients across the world with a specialism in the MENA region. James holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford, and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from King’s College London, where his research focussed on political Islam and Islamist movements and their wider political influence in the region.

In his free time, James enjoys cycling, running, cooking, reading and supporting Portsmouth FC.
