Cara is an experienced intelligence analyst whose work mainly focusses on Jihadism and political violence in Africa. She holds a Master of Terrorism and Security Studies and speaks Afrikaans, English, French, Russian and Levantine Arabic. In addition to contributing to ongoing projects at Global Weekly, Cara has written for numerous think tanks including the Terrorism Research and Analysis Consortium (TRAC), the Afghanistan Security Institute (ASI), and the Fulcrum Analytics Blog. As head of OSINT at Global Weekly, Cara hopes to inspire the new generation of OSINT researchers and political analysts to reach their full potential.
