Ben is currently pursuing a degree in international relations and international business at American University in Washington, D.C., primarily focusing on economic development and the Central/Eastern European region. He is interested in continuing to explore a range of topics, including democratic backsliding, transition economies, and maritime intelligence/security.

While studying in Prague, he interned at the national investment promotion agency, CzechInvest, where he researched FDI competition in the region. At his home university, he conducted an OSINT investigation that used network analysis to show how political narratives are spread on alternative social media platforms. Ben also has a passion for learning languages and is actively studying Czech.
