A third-year BA History student at the London School of Economics, Avan is an Indonesian international student who specialises in the geopolitics of Southeast Asia and historical drivers of foreign policy.

Besides reading and studying history, his hobbies including building LEGO (where he works part time), and partaking in MUN conferences across the United Kingdom.
