Andrew is currently pursuing a degree in political science and philosophy at American University in Washington, D.C., with a year abroad at the London School of Economics. He mainly focuses on Eastern European and Central Asian affairs, with an emphasis on international security.

Throughout the course of his studies, he has interned in the United States Senate for the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, interned for Connecticut Governor’s Office, and interned in research and political strategy/lobbying for Campaign for Uyghurs, an NGO dedicated to advocating on behalf of Turkic minorities in Xinjiang, China.
