Amel is a recent History & Politics graduate from the University of Cambridge. She is set to continue her studies by starting a MSc in International Relations at the LSE. Her future aspirations are to combine her passion for academia with diplomacy.

Amel’s initial interests in geopolitics arose from her experience growing up as an immigrant in the West. She started her studies in international relations through studying modern history, and has found her passions lay in the politics of Africa, the history and effects of colonialism and how cultural identities play into geopolitics.
