Alexander is a Desk Analyst on the North America Desk at Global Weekly. Before joining Global Weekly in 2024, he was a Research Assistant at The Grantham Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and the Fund for Peace.
He also served in previous roles for the US Department of Defense and the Department of Health and Human Services. Bergh completed his Master of Science degree at the London School of Economics & Political Science in the International Relations program and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver with Cum Laude Honors.
Bergh has several publications including The Descent into Chaos: A Theoretical Analysis of the Iraq War, South Africa's Tragedy: From "Powerhouse of Africa" to "Embattled" State, and A New Balance of Power: The Importance of Managing Partnership in an Increasingly Autocratic World. He speaks English and French and lives in Colorado, USA.
